The
HSS are organising a tour starting from St Andrews and ending in
Edinburgh, taking in Dundee, Aberdeen, Elgin, Perth and
Dunfermline. We shall visit churches, castles and other places of
heraldic, architectural and historic interest.
We
shall also include a distillery, for how could one visit Speyside,
without seeing a distillery? The tour will last for five days and
include four nights. We shall end at Broomhall, the home of the
Earl of Elgin, chief of the name of Bruce. Here Adam Bruce,
Finlaggan Pursuivant, will show us the family treasures and Lord
Elgin has offered some hospitality. |
